Q&A with Missy Margera

Missy's Q&A from BMMB

Asked by Danielle: Missy, regarding your wedding, in
your opinion - how do you think it turned out? Did
everything go to plan? Is there anything you wish
could have gone better?

The entire wedding day went very smoothly. I think I
got all my worrying over with the week before. By the
time the actual day was here, I was able to relax and
enjoy it. My sister Jessica and my best friend Briana
made the the preparation part of the day really
special for me.
I hired the wedding planner from hell!! She said she
had six years experience planning weddings but I'm
convinced that mine was her first go at it!!!
Thankfully my Mom and April stepped up to the plate
and helped me through it!!
The only aspect that could have gone better would have
to be that drunk idiots didn't destroy the bathroom and
break all the light fixtures on 3 different floors!! I
wont name any names but we could have done without a
few select guests! I was expecting at least one thing
to get broke but not 3 floors worth of light fixtures.
Oh well!!

Asked by Efta: what was your family's reaction to you
doing the playboy spread?

I discussed it my Mom and sisters before I committed
to it. My Mom was a bit hesitant at first but she
warmed up to the idea. My sisters were excited.
Playboy is a classy magazine, I think that a womens
body is a beautiful thing and as long as the photos
are done tastefully... Why not? Even my Grandmom
thought it was rad...

Asked by .:Boel:.: Does Bam's crazyness and overall
rock hard attitude, ever get on your nerves?

The only time he gets on my nerves is when its 4am and
I'm ready for bed and he's not! The jukebox going full
blast is not something you can ignore. I think I found
a solution though, I'm going to sound proof our
bedroom!!

Asked by Pippie: How did you feel about having the
cameras around all the time when you were planning
your wedding? How much different, if at all, does Bam
act with the cameras on him?

The cameras added a whole different level of stress.
Planning a wedding is hard enough, add a crew of 30 to
the mix and you've got a pretty emotional situation.
Luckily, our crew was wonderful to work with and I
made some great friends.
Bam doesnt act different with the cameras on him, it's
second nature to him. He's a natural.

Asked by La Land: What do you think of all the fan
page's like The Alliance Against s%#t Talking Bam &
Missy™ on myspace.

I enjoy looking at all the photos! They have some that
I havent even seen before!! I'd be lying if I said
that it didnt feel good to know that people like you.

Asked by Bridget's: Did you have to take time off of
your job to shoot the show?

Yes, but at first I wasnt going to. The actual wedding
planning was taking up so much of my time that I didnt
think it was fair to continue to push work to the
side. I spoke to my boss and she completely understood
the situation. She's a good friend of mine, so that
made it a lot easier.

Asked by Viva La Gam: Hey Missy, just wondering how
bad did it hurt when you fell off the skateboard? i
want to learn how to skate but im not one for pain so
just wondering.

It hurt, BAD... Im not one for pain either and I don't
plan on stepping foot on a skateboard again. I'll
leave that to my hubby!!

Asked by Wasting_The_Dawn: Hey Missy. Now that you're
under the spotlight do you plan on pursuing a career
in acting or anything along the lines of that. Thanks.

No, definitely not. I will support Bam in his various
projects but I would never want to do a Hollywood
movie!!

Asked by Jensin: Hi Missy, First off...congrats to
you and Bam!! Love the show! How do you deal with all
of the fans and the press? Does it interfere with your
daily activities?

Thanks!! Sometimes it interferes, but its part of the
package. The only time it really bothers us is when we
are deep in conversation and some drunk frat boy comes
up, spills half his drink on me and demands Bam does a
shot with him... Most fans are really friendly and Bam
doesnt mind taking photos and signing stuff...

Asked by Emily23: What were your plans to do in life
before you met Bam?

Well I've know Bam since I was 13 years old so I didnt
really have a life plan at that point. If you mean
before we got romantically involved? I went to
college, worked a few different jobs, got my real
estate license.. I wasnt really sure what I wanted...

Asked by: Punk_of_a_tomboy: Hey Missy. I know on
Stern Bam said he'd like to have a daughter, so I was
wondering how many kids you'd like to have and if you
two ever talk about baby names?

We'd love to have a baby but not right now!! We want
to enjoy married life for a few years first. We'd both
like a girl so I guess if we had a boy, we try again
til we have a girl!?! I have lots of names in mind,
but I wont even tell my girlfriends... I dont want
them stealing them!! HaHa

Asked by bamsbeauty07: Hi Missy! Nearly all celebrity
couples end up in divorce, and I was wondering if that
concerns you at all? Does having Bam in the spot light
affect your relationship at all? Thnx

Nearly half of all couples end up in divorce, not just
celebrities... I think people dont take marriage
seriously anymore. Our parents are great role models
for us... My parents were married for 27 years when my
dad passed away and Phil and Ape have been married
about 30 years! Bam being in the spotlight is a
different part of our life, it doesnt affect our
marriage...

Asked by Scott: how scared are you of the "margera
curse"?

Not too bad... I am having trouble getting car
insurance though!

Asked by Lukewarmdog: Are you going to make bam
redecorate?

I'm not making him redecorate... We both wanted to
make some needed changes to the house. We redid the
kitchen and bathroom and expanded our bedroom... I
love how the second floor is done, I wouldn't change
it... I just added some comfy furniture so our friends
can actually sit down....

Asked by Michelle84: Hey Missy, Congratulations!!!!
What is the one thing you like the MOST about Bam?

I love a lot of aspects of Bam... It's hard to say
what I love most... Maybe the way he looks at me, or
how passionate he is about music and skating and
filming. Some people go through life without any real
passion and he has so much...

Asked by kariyarberry: Congrats!!! My question is,
What was the fallout between Bam and Raab about? Do
you still have contact with him?

This is a loaded question... It was a major
miscommunication. It's really a shame because Bam and
Raab had been best friends for years! Neither of us
have any contact with him...

Asked by Bam'z Zxmbie: Well, as everyone earlier has
stated, Congratulations!!! As for my question, I was
curious if you ever get people sending hate-mail to
you for marrying Bam? I mean, there are probably tons
of people that envy you, but have you ever gotten
anything that was threatening?

No hate mail, nothing threatening.... The worst I've
got is mean comments on other message boards... I dont
let it bother me.

Asked by FranticFury: Congrats Missy! I heard on
Radio Bam a few weeks ago that MTV is interested in
making a 2nd season of Bam's Unholy Union. Is there
any truth in that? and if so, are you willing to have
a camera crew following you around again?

I can't really comment on this one. Sorry! All I can
say is that there has been talk...

Asked by Allyyyxo: heyy!! my question for missy is do
you guys really hate it when fans come up to u? i mean
it must be annoying if they come to the house but even
if they just wanted like a picture and autograph do u
guys get real mad about it?

No, we dont get mad... It's just that certain times are
more appropriate than others... For instance, I was
crying because I got really bad news about a friend
and Bam was consoling me and a guy came up and asked
for a photo... Not exactly the best time for a photo..
ya know??

Asked by Robin88: 1) Do you initially get along with
all of Bam's friends or was it something you had to
work at? 2) What is the one thing you don't like about
Bam being famous?

I have known most of Bams friends for years so once we
started dating, I just got to know them better...
The one thing I dont like about him being famous is
people just showing up at our house. Im sorry if you
drove all the way from Maine, but Im not letting you
in my house. The drive-bys all night are pretty
annoying too...

Asked by Robert Coombs: First Congrats on the wedding
and heres my question, How on Earth do you get through
the day without going insane like April did in Viva la
Bam?

Bam has taught me patience... I get upset, but I take
a deep breath and remember that I love my husband!!
HAHA

Asked by LukeWarmDog: Do you keep a list of things to
do before you die and if so, what's still to do?

I dont have a running list but thats not a bad idea...
There's a lot I want to do before I die... You never
know when you're gonna go, I try to live each day to
the fullest. My dad died at 48 but he was a happy
man...

Asked by Bambi33: What was the strangest wedding
present you received?

We received a lot of beautiful, thoughtful gifts.
Nothing too strange. Its funny, the two items I wanted
most came from fans!!

Asked by zoopdog: I think a lot of people would like
to know just how scripted is the new show? Would you
say it is more people doing whatever they want - when
they want, or more people being themselves within the
confines of predetermined scenes?

It was me planning the wedding on a daily basis and
Bam just doing what he does... We didn't need a
script.

Asked by candyhearts19: Do you have a role in the
movie Dreamseller?

Nope.

Asked by ghdi: What is your favorite cheese? What are
your favorite color of socks to wear? If the world was
to end and you could only pick one Smurf to take with
you to Veridj (the planet where cool people would be
taken to be safe) what Smurf would you take?

Cooper Sharp Cheese... Black socks... Poppa Smurf

Asked by Vintage Stylie: First of all Congrats on the
wedding. You two make a great couple. I wish you lots
of luck and happiness. My question is how do you
picture you and Bam in say 20 years?

Happily married and being tortured by our kids. Ape
has been telling bam that payback is hell....

Asked by prettynpink65: Hello Missy and
Congratulations on your marriage and best wishes for
your future together. I was wondering about the price
of Fame and having cameras and people looking at you,
Do you ever wish for a "normal" life and how do you
handle the intrusion into your privacy?
And you must have the patience of a saint to handle
some of the things Bam does especially for the
camera/shows.....

We do have a normal life, sometimes. For instance,
right now Im having a cup of coffee answering these
questions and bam is working on new ideas, nothing
crazy is going on.
Like I said before, he has taught me patience...

Asked by kariyarberry: Hi Missy, after reading the
Bio about you (from the MTV website), I wondered if
you are at all worried about Jenn trying to interfere
with yours and Bams relationship?

No... She can't interfere in our relationship, she
means nothing to us. If she tries to harass us, I'll
have her arrested... Simple as that!

Asked by Bamz_Princess: hey Missy, Congratz on ur
happy marriage.. If you could change anything in your
life right now, what would it be and why? xox

I dont think I would change anything. I'm in a pretty
good place right now.

Asked by thastrom: Hey Missy! Now that Bam's Unholy
Union is on TV, do you and Bam watch it? :D

We missed a few because we were in Dubai and then
Germany but when we are home we like to watch it with
our friends and family.

Asked by NorthernCraig: 1) If you ruled the world for
just one day, what're 3 things would you do?

I sat and thought about this question for 20 mins and
I cant come up with anything funny or creative. IM
SORRY!!!

2) Biting your fingernails, is just as horrible as
licking the toilet seat according to many
doctors....What's the most disgusting thing you've
ever done/had to do?

My worst daily habit is smoking cigarettes. The most
disgusting thing Ive ever done is a turnpike shot...
It has vodka, mayo and hot sauce in it...

"whistles, rattlesnakes, castanets"

all of my friends keep dieing... so i figured i'd post some poetry from my first poetic idol... i hope you enjoy . . . . .

"I am the Lizard King - I can do anything - I can make the Earth stop in its tracks - I made the blue cars go away - For seven years I dwelt in the loose palace of exile - Playing strange games with the girls of the island - Now I have come again - To the land of the fair, and the strong, and the wise - Brothers and Sisters of the pale forest - O Children of Night - Who among you will run with the hunt?

                                      -cries of assent-

Now Night arrives with her purple legion - Retire now to your tents and to your dreams - Tomorrow we enter the town of my birth - I want to be ready.

Music

Fade

end"

What am I doing here???

So life, limitless, right? Granted, we all die eventually, but there really are no boundaries. No limits to life. There are no real walls or ends that tell you to stop. So what's the point in starting something in life if you can't just keep pushing it to the next level, if you can't enhance it, make it more? Why start something today that you can't or won't continue tomorrow? Why start something that will get to just one point and be the same, day after day, and eventually fade away? Life is endless. Though one person dies, another is born, and it never fucking ends. But seriously, what are you doing with your life? What are you doing about your tomorrow? What am I doing with my life, where the hell is my tomorrow going? I keep telling myself to keep pushing forward, but where the fuck am I going? Am I really closing in on my goals? Do I even want these goals anymore? Does it really even matter? I can reach any goal I want, any of us can. But it doesn't even matter unless you proceed to the next level. Reach your goal, be proud, celebrate, then take it beyond. I don't know. Don't let life pass you by.
